Introduction of CubeSat Salon AI Bot “SALONI”

“SALONI” is a system in which AI learns from the accumulated knowledge and experience of CubeSat Salon consultants – including lecture materials, published papers, various presentations, and records of past CubeSat Salon consultations – and automatically generates responses to users’ questions.

Thanks to AI technologies, SALONI can answer questions in any language with a few exceptions.
It is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Today, many generative AI systems are available. For general questions about CubeSats or space, or for literature surveys, those general-purpose AI systems may sometimes be more suitable. In contrast, “SALONI” aims to provide answers that reflect the unique perspectives and personalities of the consultants. The responses generated by “SALONI” are derived from the consultants’ own knowledge and experience, and therefore are not intended to be generic textbook-style answers that can be found anywhere.

At the same time, even though “SALONI” is trained on the consultants’ expertise, its responses can never fully match those provided by real human consultants. Therefore, if your schedule permits, we strongly encourage you to visit the CubeSat Salon in person. Remote consultations are also available for those who are located far away.
