Travel to Japan

All International attendees at the 3rd Nano-Satellite symposium must have a valid passport from their country of origin to travel to Japan.

Regarding the visa requirements for travel to Japan, we suggest that you contact the Japanese Embassy or the Consulate Office in the country you will travel from to verify the requirements. If Japanese visa is required, we recommend that you start the visa process as early as possible.
Duration of visa process may vary according to the country you are traveling from.
Please kindly note that it is your responsibility to apply for a Visa (including transit visa) in due time.

Procedure Chart for Visas for Short-Term Stays

If you need to obtain an official invitation letter from the symposium organizer at the time of applying for a Japanese visa, at first you have to register for the 3rd Nano-Satellite Symposium, followed by filling in the Invitation Letter Request Form, which are both on our website.

In light of taking some time to complete these processes and receive an invitation letter by mail, it is advisable for you to start with the visa application procedure at your earliest convenience.
