The Japanese Alumni Society for the ISU (JASI) has resumed its activities under a new administration since 2020 for the purpose of ensuring more active exchanges of ISU alumni members and wider activities of space education in Japan through ISU. In addition to setting up a renewed website like this, some of the major activities are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1 Information and Personal Exchanges among JASI Alumni Members<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information exchange by way of mailing lists and\/or relevant databases, as well as a debrief by ISU students, a get-together and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.2 Information Provision and Other Support for Individuals, Corporations and Groups who Have Interest in ISU, Space and Space Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educational activities on space via ISU, using the website, SNS (e.g. Facebook), etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.3\u3000Support of Increased Applicants to ISU from Japan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support of increased applications from Japan to ISU and Japanese students at ISU with higher publicity of ISU in Japan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The number of the ISU Alumni is xxxx as of 2020.  Most of them are currently engaging in the front lines of space development activities and\/or other relevant educational and industrial fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf How to become a JASI Member?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who have completed the ISU programs are eligible for the JASI Membership and become a member by registering for the mailing list.  In principle, they should be a Japanese national regardless of staying in Japan or abroad.  Please see the membership codes for details.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cfHow to maintain a JASI Member?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An annual fee is free.  JASI has no mandatory nature in itself, but respects spontaneous actions.  For example, JASI welcomes your participation in an event hosted by JASI, or your cooperation in the form of providing information to the JASI Facebook or the Google groups.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

JASI is a volunteer organization and its office consists of an executive director and several directors.  The JASI office will basically ask the members for their comments about its planning and implementation of activities through the mailing list.  It intends to  ensure flexible and sustainable management.  Any events hosted by JASI, including planning and implementation, and the management of this website as well as of the Facebook account are currently executed by the following office members, together with the non-profit institution of the University Space Engineering Consortium (UNISEC).   If there will be anyone who would be agreeable to JASI\u2019s activities and be interested in helping the office member staff, please contact at japanisualumni@gmail.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
